Paul Finebaum, columnist and host of SEC Network’s “The Paul Finebaum Show,” was announced on Tuesday to be the commencement speaker for the 2015 University of Mississippi School of Law’s graduation on May 9.

An alumnus of the University of Tennessee, Finebaum was a commentator for the SEC Network broadcast of the Ole Miss vs. Tennessee game in October.

The School of Law has a sports law society, in addition to offering a sports law course and sports law review.

“We invited Paul Finebaum because of the law school’s expertise in sports law. We have the only sports law journal in the SEC, we have a thriving sports law student society, and we have several excellent sports law courses,” Law School Dean Richard Gershon said in a statement released by the university.
