In front of a national audience to kick off ESPNU’s coverage of National Signing Day, Robert Nkemdiche, the nation’s consensus No. 1 prospect, signed his letter of intent to play for Ole Miss next season.
The 6-foot-5, 260-pound defensive end chose the Rebels over Florida and LSU, among others. Nkemdiche is one of four 247Sports composite five stars who have signed with Ole Miss today, joined by safety Antonio Connor, wide receiver Laquon Treadwell and offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil.
He joins older brother Denzel, a sophomore linebacker who earned Freshman All-SEC and All-SEC second team honors this past season.
