Ahead of the Mississippi Sports Law Review Symposium at the UM Law School tomorrow, The Daily Mississippian sat down with sports attorney Scott Andresen.
He shared some advice for how Ole Miss students can get their foot in the employer’s door. From utilizing Greek Life to the perfect resume, Andresen sets out steps to improve the job search. He even discusses Gen X’s frustrations with millennials and how new hires can improve their generation’s reputation.
Andresen founded Andresen & Associates, P.C., a Chicago-based law firm which specializes in entertainment and sports law. The firm recently provided legal services to Scott Frost in connection with his new head football coaching contract with Nebraska. Andresen will speak at the Mississippi Sports Law Review Symposium. He’ll discuss collegiate recruiting and the changing definition of amateurism in college sports at the law school from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. Friday.
