The Oxford Police Department brought several people into custody Friday in relation to an alleged strong-arm robbery case, according to Officer Jeff McCutchen.

University police, who assisted in the search for the suspects, also report a weapon found on campus at the Campus Walk apartment complex.

The report says Jamaltae Adams, 20, Brannon McAllister, 19, and Laterance Lindsey, 19, all of Tupelo, met with the victims for an alleged narcotics purchase Friday at Molly Barr Trails. During this meeting, the suspects allegedly robbed the victims at gunpoint.

Police found the firearm and bandannas used during the robbery, along with cell phones, a watch and narcotics belonging to the victims in the vehicle. Adams, McAllister and Lindsey have been charged with armed robbery and given a $25,000 bond.
