@OxfordPolice (Oxford Police Department)

No. 17 Texas A&M at Auburn

My, how a QB changes a team. TAMU is scoring like Johnny Football is back. Speaking of QBs, Auburn was taking auditions from America’s Got Talent to find one. Give me the team with a QB.

No. 3 Ohio State at No. 14 Oklahoma

JT Barrett versus Baker Mayfield. Who wins? Everyone watching this game. Going to be points galore but OSU will put just a few more up than the Sooners. Big Game Bob drops another.

Mississippi State at No. 20 LSU

Have you seen the uniforms LSU is wearing?! PURE. FLAMES. Note to MSU: That’s how you wear a gold uniform. Enjoy the long flight back to the Golden Triangle. LSU wins big.

No. 1 Alabama at No. 19 Ole Miss
Ole Miss is the only team since LSU in 2010-2011 to beat a Nick Saban-coached team in consecutive years. Never quit on a heater. Ole Miss wins a close one and hopes Harvey Updyke stays at home.

USC at No. 7 Stanford

Stanford isn’t Alabama no matter how many times McCaffrey gets the ball. USC gets the upset and knocks the PAC-12 out of another College Football Playoffs.

No. 2 Florida State at No. 10 Louisville

If there wasn’t already a reason to hate FSU, there is after the Labor Day game with Ole Miss. Louisville wins and Tallahassee PD has to deal with what we did after the loss.

No. 12 Michigan State at No. 18 Notre Dame
A game of Northern heavyweights. Who doesn’t enjoy watching the ball being run up the middle over, and over, and over, and over again? Yawnnnn … I guess I’ll pick Notre Dame.

No. 17 Texas A&M at Auburn

The Aggies are my sleeper in the West, and I think I could play quarterback at Auburn. Okay, I got carried away.

No. 3 Ohio State at No. 14 Oklahoma

I really enjoy watching Baker Mayfield play football. And it’s hard to picture him and the Sooners not in the mix for a playoff spot late in the season, and a loss would almost ensure that. Mayfield has a big day and Oklahoma rights the ship at home after a loss to Houston in the opener.
No. 1 Alabama at No. 19 Ole Miss
The Rebels are in a delicate place. This brutal September has left them 1-1 and without some of its key players. I think Ole Miss puts up a great fight at home, but I think Jalen Hurts is able to get in rhythm in the second half and expose a young Rebel secondary.
USC at No. 7 Stanford
I saw on Twitter where USC said it didn’t take Alabama seriously and will be prepared for Stanford. That’s pretty funny. Stanford wins big, seriously.
No. 2 Florida State at No. 10 Louisville

The Seminoles are going to be tested against a Louisville team looking to make a statement. No Derwin James and the Seminoles’ first tough road test. They pass it and win by a touchdown.

No. 12 Michigan State at No. 18 Notre Dame
It wouldn’t truly be football season without Notre Dame being ranked too high. Spartans win on the road.
Mississippi State at No. 20 LSU
Mississippi State seems to have found its quarterback in Nick Fitzgerald. LSU is hoping, and maybe even praying, Danny Etling is its answer. I’m not sure he is, but this game is at night in Death Valley, where stuff that doesn’t make sense happens. Mississippi State puts itself in position to win the game late, but LSU survives a scare.

No. 17 Texas A&M at Auburn

Auburn has played much better than expected this season, but so has Texas A&M, and right now the Aggies are on a roll, and it looks like Kevin Sumlin has finally found a quarterback. Texas A&M wins this.

No. 3 Ohio State
at No. 14 Oklahoma

Oklahoma may have fallen victim to the first big upset of the college football season, but I still think they’re a good team. Unfortunately for them, Urban Meyer has made Ohio State into a true powerhouse, and the Buckeyes should go home with a victory.

Mississippi State at No. 20 LSU

Somehow, despite being one of the most recognizable teams in the nation, LSU cannot find a good quarterback. Mississippi State is clearly going through a tough year, and Leonard Fournette and the Tigers should still have a comfortable win.

No. 1 Alabama at No. 19 Ole Miss

The last two years I’ve picked Ole Miss to lose to Alabama and been proven wrong each time. I’m not going to jinx it now. Crimson Tide gets a hard-fought win.

USC at No. 7 Stanford

For the two California schools, USC has historically been better in athletics while Stanford has been content with superior academics. Now Stanford has taken the lead in athletics and it’s honestly not fair. Stanford gives USC another loss.

No. 2 Florida State at No. 10 Louisville

If the Florida State team that showed up in the second half of the Ole Miss game comes to play against Louisville, the Seminoles should be able to remain undefeated.

No. 12 Michigan State at No. 18 Notre Dame

Every year, Notre Dame is extremely overrated in preseason rankings. Somehow, the voters of the AP poll haven’t realized this, and the Irish are still in the top 25. Spartans for the win.
