Jackson, Miss. – Following the nation-wide legalization of gay marriage, the Mississippi Pride Celebration had something extra to celebrate as they gathered Friday evening.

- “I’m sorry for how you are treated,” said Mary Jane Kennedy, mother of two LGBT children, at the Mississippi Pride Celebration in Jackson. “You are loved and God is going to take care of us! Can I get an amen?”
