The Ole Miss Lady Rebels (10-13, 4-10 Southeastern Conference) have dropped three games in a row heading into two home matches against Tennessee (17-6, 10-4 SEC) and Florida (19-4, 13-1 SEC) this weekend.

“It doesn’t get any easier for us,” head coach Joe Getzin said. “We have the No. 16-ranked Gators coming in on Sunday. We open up with Tennessee on Friday night, who just beat Florida to keep them from going undefeated.”

Two players lead Tennessee with more than 250 kills this season — junior outside hitter Kelsey Robinson with 357 and sophomore outside hitter Tiffany Baker with 286. Robinson is averaging 4.35 per set.

“Right now I’m not as concerned about what is on the other side of the net, but what is on our side,” Getzin said. “We have to get our side cleaned up.”

This will be the first and only matchup between Ole Miss and the Volunteers this season.

The Gators enter Sunday’s match with Ole Miss ranked No. 16 in nation and have only the one conference loss to Tennessee this past weekend. Florida defeated Ole Miss last month 3-0 (25-14, 25-12, 25-22) in Gainesville, Fla.

“It will be two good matches here at home,” Getzin said. “We always like playing at home. The support that we get from the fans at the Gillom Center makes a huge difference for us.”

First serve for Friday night’s match with Tennessee is set for 7 p.m., and the Lady Rebels will play Florida at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday.
