The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department found the body of 25-year-old Zacharias Herculese McClendon of Gulfport just after 3 a.m. Wednesday. McClendon was a first-year MBA student at Ole Miss.
McClendon had a single gunshot wound, according to the Oxford Eagle. Foul play is suspected, according to a press release from the Lafayette Sheriff’s Department.
Both the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation and the Oxford Police Department are assisting the sheriff’s department in the investigation.
