A group of students and other community members marched through the Circle and the Lyceum on Wednesday in protest of  the Confederate statue located in the center of campus. Student activists and members of Students Against Social Injustice delivered a letter to university administration asking them to remove the statue, meet with student leaders and enact a hate speech policy.
