Just after midnight in early October, tragedy struck when Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint during Paris fashion week.  Sources close to Kardashian say she was bound, gagged and thrown inside the bathtub with five mysterious, masked men, who allegedly vanished with $10 million worth of jewelry. Kardashian’s spokeswoman told the Associated Press Kardashian had no apparent physical harm but was “shaken badly.”

The million-dollar heist has caused the queen of social media to go incognito and become inactive on all social media accounts.  In a recent interview with “60 Minutes” before the Paris heist, Kardashian told interviewer Bill Whitaker she attributes her success to social media, and she monetized the act of living. Because of such a cruel act, Kardashian has abandoned her social media all together. The hiatus has reportedly affects her brand.  A number of fans, including myself, are left discombobulated and in desperate need of answers.  Where’s the crying Kimoji when you need it?

Following Kardashian’s shivery incident, many fans were left concerned as it pertained to Kardashian’s psychological health.  Ole Miss journalism student Enjoli Henderson said, “Kim is traumatized, and it’s sad to see her afraid to post.”

An inside source told Us Weekly that the incident completely changed her life. The source continues saying “She loved flaunting her wealth and being so public. She felt safe and never really thought about her vulnerability. Now she knows she was so naive. Everything has to change going forward.”

After being absent from social media for over a month, Kim Kardashian shared three posts to the world on Facebook.  One of the pictures included her in typical ‘Kim Kardashian glam,’ lounging in a chair. Captioned, “Downtime #LumeeCollab,” the picture appeared to be old due to the fact that it featured her infamous 2011 Blackberry Bold that broke in early August. Sadly, moments later, Kardashian deleted the posts. An insider close to Kardashian told celebrity blogger Perez Hilton “The posts were an error. She’s still figuring out when is the right time for her to come back.” It seems as though Kim is still struggling with determining what is and what is not OK in regards to sharing. Will she ever bless my timeline with her scandalous selfies? The question still is yet to be determined, but I pray for the day a new selfie surfaces the web. As you may know, Kardashian is unlike any celebrity. Through Kardashian’s oversharing on social media, it helped fans feel a sense of connection with her.

Kardashian has become a prisoner inside her house. She knows this is not realistic, so she makes the the attempt to attend events, including younger sister Kendall Jenner’s 21st birthday party. Just recently, Kardashian was spotted makeup free and wearing an oversize white hoodie and white slides.  She avoided the cameras as she and best friend Jonathan Cheban grabbed frozen yogurt. Pictures surfaced on Instagram when she was seen attending Kanye West’s concert in Los Angeles. But why is this such a big deal?

The inside source also tells Us Weekly “she’s not doing so well.” She apparently has been having “difficulty sleeping and has anxiety when she leaves the house, this shattered her world.”  Hearing this news breaks my heart, no one should ever go through something so traumatic that it changes their everyday life. As long as I’ve kept up with the Kardashians, there’s no doubt that this behavior is beyond peculiar for Kim. She has groomed herself to never leave the house without looking like a life-size, bootylicious Armenian Barbie.

No matter what Kardashian goes through, she seems to find resilience. Yes, this was a huge setback but she has always been the queen of comebacks.
