The University of Mississippi Office of Health Promotions and the Counseling Center will offer a stress-less week starting April 29 to ease students’ anxiety of finals week.
Finals week is one of the most stressful weeks of every fall and spring semester of college, and for many students who are on the border of passing or failing a class, it can be the most important. Students often are energized by caffeine and suffer from lack of sleep.
To help relieve the stress, Pet-a-Puppy will be in the Union Plaza. It is sponsored by the Oxford-Lafayette Humane Society.
Students can stop by the University Counseling Center, check in and take a 30-minute nap with no technology permitted.
Massages, yoga and Zumba in the Grove are also offered throughout the week.
