This case is still currently under investigation, and if anyone has any information, they should call the University Police Department at 662-915-7234.

At approximately 2 p.m. on March 15, a University of Mississippi Police Officer was on routine patrol of University Place, located near Swayze Field, when he noticed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. The officer initiated a traffic stop because of the unsafe rate of speed. The driver of the vehicle was issued Mississippi Uniform Traffic citations for speeding and careless driving.
