On Monday, April 4, a resident of Saddle Creek subdivision reported two laptops had been stolen from the residence. The following day OPD officers stopped 19-year-old Jarvis Carter of Oxford and conducted a search of his vehicle. During this search, the two laptops were recovered and identified by the reporting party. Carter was arrested on the scene and given a $2,500 bond.
