UPDATE: Fall personality election results announced

The Ole Miss Associated Student Body announced the results of Tuesday’s personality elections on the steps of the Lyceum earlier this evening.

KayKay DeRossette was elected the 2013-2014 Miss Ole Miss and received 2,981 votes, or 55.32%. DeRossette defeated opponent Blair Jackson, who received 2,363 votes, or 43.85%.

The 2013-2014 Mr. Ole Miss will be decided in a run-off election Thursday featuring Houston Brock, who received 1,371 votes, or 25.05%, and Rob Pyron, who received 1,933 votes, or 35.33%. Diego Garcia (784 votes, 14.33%), Corbin Holtzman (604 votes, 11.04%) and Ruben Ruiz (604 votes, 11.04%) were eliminated Tuesday.

The 2013-2014 Homecoming Queen will be decided in a run-off election Thursday featuring Madison Coburn, who received 1,696 votes, or 32.1%, and Megan McBeth, who received 2,206 votes, or 41.75%. Brittani Acuff (1,325 votes, 25.08%) was eliminated from the election Tuesday.

The senior maid is Anna Beth Higginbotham, the junior maid is Anna Grey McCraw, the sophomore maid is Jennifer Hicks and the freshman maid is Chloe Sumrall.

Male campus favorites are Tim Abram, Adam Blackwell, Jeremy Holliday, Matthew Keifer and Ruben Ruiz. Female campus favorites are Madison Coburn, Rachel Crim, Morgan Gregory, Camden Hastings and Megan McBeth.
