Annual New York-Mississippi Picnic canceled because of religious bill

A 36-year tradition is coming to a grinding halt because of house bill 1523. The New York Mississippi Society cancelled its annual picnic following in light of a religious freedom bill that has caused backlash across the state. Here is their statement:
