Cedric Garron and Paige Freeman served as the Master and Mistress of Ceremonies introducing speakers for the night.
Ethel Young-Scurlock, Associate Professor of English and African American Studies was the keynote speaker at the 3rd annual BSU Gala. “I got 99 problems but being black ain’t one,” Scurlock said.
Norris Edney, advisor of Men of Excellence received the Dr. Donald Cole award.
