Students for a Green Campus will host a “Jammin’ for the Planet” benefit concert tonight at Proud Larry’s. The lineup includes Buki, Christian Stringer, WAR MACHINE, who is often mislabeled as DJ War Machine, and The Red Thangs. The show starts at 9 p.m. and tickets are $5 in advance or $8 at the door. All proceeds will go to The University of Mississippi Green Fund.
“The UM Green Fund is a pool of money that is used for the implementation of energy efficiency, renewable energy and sustainability projects, programs and policies,” said Alexander Borst, freshman international studies major and media chair for Students for a Green Campus.
