A number of activities are being offered on campus this week (April 30 to May 4) to help you relax before finals. During "Stress-Less Week," sponsored by the University Counseling Center and the Office of Health Promotion, students can participate  in yoga classes, listen to live entertainment, play lawn games and enjoy several other fun activities to reduce their stress.

One place students can go to relax is the counseling center. Monday through Friday, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the “Napping Well” will be open. Students can take advantage of air mattresses, blankets, eye masks and earplugs for a 30 minute power nap. Cell phones, iPods or any other distracting devices are not allowed but can be checked in at the door.

Another option is the Pet-a-Puppy station located outside the union. Be sure to stop by Thursday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. to interact with some cute canines that will help you chill out.
