Today at 3p.m., The University of Mississippi released it’s enrollment number for the Fall semester of 2014.

The number of enrolled students on all of the universities’ campuses was reported more than 23,000.

This number is the largest in the state for college campuses.

This year’s count has made history for Ole Miss. The number of enrollment this year has increased from last year by 805. UM also made history with the second highest retention rate in the return of last year’s freshmen class with reports showing a return rate of 84.6 percent.

The incoming freshmen class this year is 3,814. This is a 6.5 percent increase from the previous years number of 3,582. The university also reported a minority enrollment of 5,488 students, or 23.8 percent.
