The NCAA’s lengthy investigation into Ole Miss has taken yet another turn.

Yahoo Sports is reporting that the NCAA has expanded its probe beyond the Laremy Tunsil draft night fiasco, and has now interviewed players at Mississippi State and Auburn that were recruited by Ole Miss, offering them immunity from any potential sanctions for discussing their recruitment by the Rebels.

In January, Ole Miss was  charged with 28 violations pertaining to multiple athletic programs, 13 of them involving the football team. In May, Ole Miss self-imposed sanctions that included scholarship reductions and three years probation.

The investigation is nearly four years old now and it appears that there is no end in sight, at least not for the near future.  A case that has had its fair share of twists and turns took another one on Thursday and is not expected to be resolved until some time in 2017.
